Question for you moms or dads our there who are potty training. How old is/was your son when you started? How did you know he was ready? How did you go about starting?

When potty training boys when do you transtion them to standing up instead of sitting down?

How will i know when to start potty training my son?
My son is 19 months old. He can take his diaper off by himself. He points to his diaper if i ask him if he’s pooped.
He doesn’t seem interested in the potty, more in using real toilet.
