Potty training is an important process in the development of all children, for most it starts between the ages of 1 and 3 with the introduction of portable potties and finishes when a child can confidently use the toilet. By training a child bladder control you will help them gain self confidence a child will also be happy in the knowledge they will be visibly pleasing their parents. Getting a child out of nappies is a sound cost saving measure, as nappies are a lot more expensive than toilet paper.

Adults need to adopt a patient approach when dealing with potty training as it can become very frustrating, especially when the portable potty is viewed as just another toy, rather than a practical appliance. Remember it’s normal for boys to take longer to train than girls.
